The Twitch Plus Program is a revenue-sharing initiative that rewards creators—both Partners and Affiliates—with an increased net revenue share from paid and gifted subscriptions.
If you’ve been grinding on Twitch and wondering how to increase your sub revenue, the Twitch Plus Program might be the motivation boost you need. Originally announced as Partner Plus in 2023, the program was expanded and rebranded in 2024 to give more creators access to a higher revenue share.

As of May 2024, the program includes two earning tiers based on Plus Points:
- Level 1: 60/40 revenue split with 60% going to the creator (100 Plus Points)
- Level 2: 70/30 revenue split with 70% going to the creator (300 Plus Points)
Once you maintain the required Plus Points for three consecutive months, you’ll be enrolled automatically. Your new payout rate is then locked in for 12 months, even if your sub points dip during that time. To requalify after that period, you’ll need to meet the threshold again.
What Are Plus Points?
Twitch uses a point system to determine who qualifies for the Plus Program. Here’s how points are assigned:
- Tier 1 (paid/gifted sub) = 1 point
- Tier 2 (paid/gifted sub) = 2 points
- Tier 3 (paid/gifted sub) = 6 points
- Prime Subs = 0 points
P.S. Only paid and gifted subscriptions count.
How to Join the Plus Program
There’s no application process. You can monitor your progress using the Plus Program Widget in your Creator Dashboard. If you meet the requirements, your revenue share will update accordingly, and your dashboard will reflect your new status.
📌 Pro Tip: Your Plus Points are calculated monthly, based on a three-month rolling average, and last for one full year before needing to requalify. If you stream on Twitch using Streamlabs Desktop, you can add the Plus Program widget to your setup via browser source.
